Sports are an important part of the lives of millions (if not billions) of people worldwide. Basketball, baseball, football, swimming, volleyball, and more are all sports. When it comes to the game of tennis, there is no doubt that it’s a physical exercise. There’s also a lot of support for the sport globally as well. Millions engage in it for fun or as a career path. So it’s time to answer whether tennis is not a real sport.
Tennis is indeed a sport. It’s just like any other activity involving the use of the body in movement. It’s an exercise for sure just all of the other sports you may know of. What makes tennis so distinct is the racquet and green balls it’s played with on a court.
The sport can be enjoyed by multiple people (2-4) people at a time and it requires speed. Being served a ball from across court that’s cut with a net at halfway makes it an interesting sport. No one knows for certain the future of tennis but currently it’s one of the world’s most favorite sports to play and watch.
